Arrival of the turbine
The Archimedes screw turbine is expected to arrive on site about 9am on Tuesday 4th September.
Please come and join us watch the turbine being lowered into place during the morning, weather permitting.
We will gather on the pavement of The Carrs (B1410), on the opposite side of the river to the site – map.
Tea and coffee will be available in Ruswarp Village Hall during the morning.
Before you travel check the Latest Tweets section on the Home page of our website for updates on timings.
If you don’t manage to come and watch it arrive, then look out for photos and hopefully a video on our website.
