Turbine arrives!

After a long wait the turbine has actually arrived on site.

Watch the arrival and lifting of the turbine into place.

The Archimedes screw turbine is expected to arrive on site about 9am on Tuesday 4^th September.

Please come and join us watch the turbine being lowered into place during the morning, weather permitting.

We will gather on the pavement of The Carrs (B1410), on the opposite side of the river to the site – map.

Tea and coffee will be available in Ruswarp Village Hall during the morning.

Great news. The upgraded Larinier fish pass is now open.
