Funding

The purchase and installation of the generating equipment was approximately £470,000.

The purchase and installation was funded through:

  • Loan from the National Park Authority, Sustainable Development Fund
  • Share issue
  • Equity, grant and loan from Key Fund
  • Revenue share from CO2Sense
  • Grant from North Yorkshire County Council Community Fund
    Grant from Naturesave

Grants to cover other costs associated with the project have been secured from:

• North Yorkshire County Council Community Fund
• National Park Authority, Sustainable Development Fund
