Whitby Esk Energy are delighted to support a new Riverfly project through a grant. This is the first time we have been in a position to make a community benefit grant following paying off the final of our loans last year.
As part of the River Esk Connect (REConnect) Project Groundwork are delivering a series of Riverfly sessions on Spital Beck – aka The Calla with the long term aim of monitoring the water of this beck using the little animals that live in it.
This session won’t involve getting wet but you can get a taster for what is involved and learn about what interesting life lives below the water.
