Alarms and Status
There are currently no system alarms
There is a problem with one of the upper river level sensors.
The generator has failed. This is probably caused by a power failure. If so use Global Reset to reset it.
The hydraulics have failed. This is probably caused by a power failure. If so use Global Reset to reset it.
The penstock has failed. This is probably caused by a power failure. If so use Global Reset to reset it.
The G59 relay has tripped. This is normally caused by external electrical network disturbances and should reset itself after an hour.
The level in the forebay is too high to start. This could be normal because of a high tide or river spate.
The turbine failed to start properly (failed to reach starting speed).
The turbine shut down because it went too fast
There is a problem with the lower river level sensor.
The gearbox temperature is too high. Check its cooling fan.
There is a fault with the screw top bearing
There is a fault with the generator bottom bearing
There is a fault with the generator top bearing
The upper river is below the low level trip level (minimum abstraction level)
There has been an emergency shutdown request
The turbine is generating below the minimum power level. It will probably shut down soon
The generator is in Manual mode. Use the HMI to put it in Automatic
The penstock is in Manual mode. Use the HMI to put it in Automatic
The hydraulics are in Manual mode. Use the HMI to put it in Automatic
The Emergency Stop button has been pressed.
The turbine is generating above the maximum power level. It will shut down soon
The turbine is undergenerating because the lower river level is high
The penstock failed to open.

There have been too many G59 trips today. This may take some time to reset.
There is a problem with the generator bottom bearing
There is a problem with the generator top bearing
The forebay level has reached dangerous levels. The HMI will need to be reset AFTER inspecting the site for damage
There has been a normal shutdown request
A routine Hydraulic pump service is required
The HMI has decided it is not OK to operate. Check other messages.
The turbine was automatically requested to start
email sent
A routine service is required
A routine gearbox oil change is required
The turbine can't start because the upper river level is too low
The turbine was manually requested to start
A routine brake inspection is required
The turbine is not running
