Come and help us for a couple of hours on site on the morning of Friday 6th July to get the site ready for the open afternoon. We will be undertaking a variety of site tidying tasks including cutting back vegetation and clearing himalyan balsam. Meet at the railway crossing gate at 11.00 am.
Please let us know if you are able to join us, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning 07410 549833, in case we need to change plans due to weather.
Join us in looking back and looking forward on the 6th July.
There will be introductory talks in Ruswarp Village Hall from 2pm from our team and Liam Wood, from Durham University, followed by a visit to the site nearby.
Since last September, Liam has been undertaking research into the optimisation of generation for his MSc. We are delighted that Liam is able to join us for our Community Energy Fortnight open afternoon to share his findings.
Why don’t you come by train and combine the tour with a visit to a local café or pub?
The site visit will finish by 3.15pm to let you catch the train along the scenic Esk Valley line to Whitby or towards Middlesbrough.
To book a place: email email@example.com or phone 07410 549833.
